Youth Pastor
Pastor Mark & Diane Butcher have been married for 49 years and have 3 grown children and 6 grandchildren. They consider it a blessing to have been at Freeway for 32+ years.
Wesley accepted the Lord at the age of 7 years old. His love of serving others culminated in 2012 when he began his studies at Boston Baptist College. While in Boston, he met his wife, Rachel, and the two began their life of ministry together in 2016. After earning his Bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies, Wesley was called into ministry to serve as the Youth Pastor at Freeway Baptist Church in Houston, TX, where he has faithfully served for 7 years.

Thank you for visiting our website! I hope you will join us for worship this Sunday! What you can expect is a group of people who celebrate all the Lord has done and is doing in Worship.
We also believe that the primary way God speaks to people today is through His Word, the Bible. So we spend a lot of time celebrating God, reading and studying His Word verse by verse. All of our services are casual dress. I hope to see you soon!

Freeway is a group of believers committed to Loving God, Loving People and Serving both. We do this through worship, fellowship, service, outreach & discipleship. We are structured along the lines of the churches mentioned in the book of Acts. You won’t find boards, committees and heated meetings every month. You will find teams led by Godly men and women committed to advancing the Kingdom of God in a joyful manner. We are always looking for new team members!
Our style of worship could be defined by some as progressive or contemporary. We include music and songs that were written yesterday as well as those from over one hundred years ago. We also use a variety of Bible translations while seeking to find the message God has for us. At the core of all we do is the understanding that God has a plan for all of our lives… both individually as well as corporately as the church.
We believe that God’s word is infallible or without mistake. We also believe that Jesus is the only way to receive forgiveness of sin and enter heaven. We have found that the primary way God teaches us and speaks encouragement to us is through His word the Bible. So, grab your Bible and join us for our next teaching time!
